JA-Workshop is a research based design studio straddling the boundaries of product design, installation, art and architecture. Our work derives from an avid interest in materials, their tactile qualities, and the ways in which materials are formed to serve a particular set of conditions. Each work is the result of intense iterative study evolving new ideas and relationships through physical models, full scale mockups and digital analysis. The studio has the expertise to provide full architectural services from concept design to construction, and full product design services from concept design and prototyping to final production.

JA-Workshop is a research based design studio investigating the boundaries of product design, installation, art and architecture. Our work derives from an avid interest in materials, their tactile qualities, and the ways in which materials are formed to serve a particular set of conditions. Each work is the result of intense iterative study evolving new ideas and relationships through physical models, full scale mockups and digital analysis.
We work in a collaborative environment, where clients, engineers, manufacturers and consultants engage in the design process from its inception. The studio has the expertise to provide full architectural services from concept design to construction, and full product design services from concept design and prototyping to final production.
Many of the designs in our collection are made to order, this allows us the freedom to explore new materials and finishes and continue to evolve our work.
